Registration Deadline

Registrations will be closed on October 1, 2019. Registration after this deadline will not be accepted. On registration sent via post the postmark will be considered. S.S.D.Telesia Running Team retains the right to close registration prior to said deadline as well to accept entries after the deadline.

Refund on the entry fee

Under no circumstances are the entry fees refundable. However, the registered athletes who cannot take part to the race have the possibility to transfer the registration to another person by formal request to be made by September 15, 2019. The substituting participant must provide all information necessary for the application.

Athlete’s Responsability

The registered participants is the owner of the bib number and is responsible for its custody, acquiring the rights to all the services above and below mentioned in this regulations.
a. Whomever, without regular registration, participates without bib number, not only is liable for damage to things and people, including the participant, will incur in sport sanctions under the competences of the federal organs and can be prosecuted for criminal sanctions disposed for the crime of theft (art. 624 of the criminal law).
b. Whomever, without regular registration, participates with a counterfeit bib number or not conforming with the assigned one, a part from being responsible as mentioned above, can be prosecuted for criminal sanctions disposed for the crime of theft (art. 624 of the Italian Criminal Law) or, in alternative, for the crime of fraud (art. 640 of the Italian Criminal Law).
In the cases a. and b. the participants can be prosecuted for criminal sanctions disposed for the crime of “inobservance of the measures of the authorities” (art. 650 of the Italian Criminal Law). The above mentioned circumstances will be acknowledged exclusively from verification through photographic and video documentation.

Claims

Any claims must be presented the latest 30 minutes from the exhibition of the ranking at first verbally with the Referees at the arrival, later in writing to the Appeal Referee, accompanied with a tax of 100 euro, which will be returned in case the claim will be approved. For everything that is not included in these regulations, FIDAL regulations will apply. The Referees of the Race can disqualify the athletes that do not pass in the checkpoints placed along the course.

Time Limits

The maximum race time is 3 hours. All of the athletes who arrive after these times will be asked to stop by the staff. All runners who finish within the maximum time limit will be given a medal at the finish.

Bag Storage

A free bag storage service will be provided in the Palestra Foschino, at the starting area. Athletes must use their bags and label them with the sticker included in the bag containing their bib. While the bags will be collected and returned with the utmost care and attention, the event organizer will accept no responsibility for any missing, lost and/or stolen items.

Waiver of Liability

“I declare to know and respect the official Telesia Half Marathon 2019 policy, published on the website www.telesiahalfmarathon.it, according to the IAAF and FIDAL policy, and to be at least 18 years old on the day of the race; I declare to own a medical certificate of sportive suitability valid on the October 6, 2019 and to present this certificate with the registration module in case I am not a FIDAL member or Sport Promotion Authority CONI member. I know that taking part to the Telesia Half Marathon and/or participating to other sport events is potentially a risky activity. I also declare to register consciously and I assume all the risks concerning to my participation in the race: falls, contact with other participants or vehicles, difficult weather conditions, traffic and all the other risks are known and evaluated by me. Acknowledging the above mentioned, considering that my registration has been accepted, I release and discharge the Telesia Half Marathon 2019 organization committee, S.S.D. Telesia Running Team , the promotion organizations, Local Council of Telese Terme, Provincial Council of Benevento, Regional Council of Campania, the administration of the places where the race passes, the sponsors, from future complaining and from any kind of responsibility connected to my participation to the race. Once the registration has been accepted, the entry fee is not refundable. “

Personal Data Treatment

PERSONAL DATA PROTECTION POLICY OF TELESIA RUNNING TEAM S.S.D. ON THE DATA TRANSMITTED FOR SIGNING UP TO TELESIA HALF MARATHON

Dear participant, we intend to inform you that the following document is the Privacy Policy referred to Article 13 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 on the protection of personal data. The Data Controller, as indicated below, will collect and process the data contained into the Telesia Half Marathon registration form, as well as any images, for the purposes then described. The personal data indicated in the registration form, both online and hard copy, are necessary to the conclusion and consequent management of the relationship with Telesia Running Team S.S.D.

DATA COLLECTED:

• are processed for the formalization and consequent organizational, administrative, legal and fiscal management of the contractual relationship that arises from the acceptance by Telesia Running Team S.S.D. of your registration for the Telesia Half Marathon;
• are processed to verify the physical fitness and the regularity of the membership according to the participation criteria indicated in the Regulation, published at www.telesiahalfmarathon.it ;
• are processed in order to communicate any information aimed at guaranteeing your participation in the sporting event or to other activities that take place within the event itself;
• are processed in order to send you our Newsletter only if in the registration form you have given consent to use your email address for that purpose;
• are processed in electronic, IT and paper modalities by internal staff, authorized collaborators and External Data Processors, duly authorized by Telesia Running Team S.S.D.;
• are stored on IT or paper supports, and protected from illegal or unauthorized access, from theft, protected from loss and destruction with appropriate security measures;
• are shared with sports federations, in order to verify the sport qualification required for the competition for which you are registering and for the subsequent update of the result you obtained with the participation, as well as for insurance purposes.

IMAGE USE POLICY:
during the sporting event, photographic images and videos will be acquired and used for informational purposes of the various moments of the event itself, on the Telesia Half Marathon website, on the event’s promotional material, on social media and trade press. Both photographic images and videos will be stored in IT archives by Telesia Running Team S.S.D. and by External Data Processors, duly authorized by the latter. The personal data, all the documentation as well as all the images and videos will be stored for ten years from its acquisition. As Data Subject, as provided by Article 13 of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679, you have the right to request to Telesia Running Team S.S.D. the access to your personal data, their rectification, their cancellation or the limitation of treatment. You also have the right of enabling data portability, as well as the right of bringing complaints to the Italian Data Protection Authority. All rights summarized above may be exercised by writing to the following e-mail address: info@telesiahalfmarathon.it It will be our concern to answer to you.

The Data Controller is Telesia Running Team S.S.D. a r.l. , with registered office in Telese Terme, Via S.Rosa 4, in the person of its President.

With the registration to the Telesia Half marathon 2019 the athlete authorizes the Organization Committee, with the media partners, the acquisition of the right to use his/her moving or still images that eventually portray her/him during the marathon on every support, included promotional materials and advertising, for the time provided by the regulation, considering also eventual time extensions that could occur. I concede my authorization to all the organization involved in the planning of the marathon, included the ones previously cited, to use my images, photos, videos on the web site www.telesiahalfmarathon.it and anything relative to my participation to the event for any type of licit use without remuneration”.

Final Provisions

The Organization Committee has the faculty to modify these regulations in every part whenever needed in order to guarantee a better organization of the race. For what not mentioned in the present regulation, is valid what mentioned by FIDAL and GGG’s technical policies. All modifications to services, venues and timetables will be communicated to registered athletes via the confirmation letter, or will be posted on the website www.telesiahalfmarathon.it. Moreover, all information and instructions for race day will be handed out alongside the bib number.
